BMW Unveils Cutting-Edge Panoramic iDrive System

At CES 2025, BMW revealed its groundbreaking Panoramic iDrive system featuring a windshield-length display and the BMW Operating System X.

The system’s display stretches across the bottom of the windshield, providing vital information while keeping the driver’s focus on the road.

Frank Weber, BMW’s head of vehicle development, calls it the “industry benchmark in multimodal interaction,” pushing infotainment capabilities to new heights.

The display is comparable to Ford’s Lincoln brand’s SUV, the Nautilus, launched in 2024, but BMW raises the bar with additional features.

The Panoramic iDrive will debut globally by the end of 2025, with the U.S. launch planned for mid-2026.
